Today I write from outside Hartford, CT on a 3-day shoot for the Quinnipiac University student thesis short, The Philanthropist, in the supporting role of Mall Santa. I've found these student films to be somewhat hit-or-miss. I've been involved with some more-professional-than-professional projects as well as some disastrous ones. I'm happy to report that this one is the former - wonderful communication, disciplined scheduling, collaborative approach, and attention to practicalities (read: food, comfort, etc).
